Voting Information
Many campaigns add voter information to help supporters register to vote. A voter information page is one of the default pages, but it should changed or archived/deleted if you choose. NOTE: The links below are NOT live.
Are you registered to vote?
Eligible voters can also register to vote in person by going to:
- SC Election Committee – On Line Registration
- A drivers license facility. You can register to vote when you obtain or renew your drivers license or state identification card at any of the license facilities.
- Registration is also available at other state government offices, including public assistance offices, and military recruitment offices.
When to re-register
Your registration is permanent unless you move or change your name. Just having a driver’s license, does not mean you are registered to vote.
Address changes
If you have moved to or within the County, you must transfer your registration by re-registering. You must re-register with the local election authority or county clerk if you move to an address outside of the County.
Election Day is November 3, 2026. See YOUR OWN sample ballot:
Q. What candidates and/or offices are on the ballot?
A. The candidates and offices on a particular ballot will often differ depending on the county and districts in which a voter resides. For primary elections, ballots will also be different depending on which party’s primary the voter chooses to vote. In advance of Election Day, voters may view their Sample Ballot by visiting scVotes.gov – clicking on the “Voters” tab -- or by selecting “Get My Sample Ballot” here.
Sample Ballots provide up-to-date districts, candidates, and contests that will appear on a voter’s ballot.
Where do I vote?
On Election Day, you will cast your ballot in a polling place, usually in a public building near your home, that serves as a polling place.
You can also call the County Clerk's office for help.
